Hello fellow losers,

I have gone to the gym for 15 days in a row.  I even got up at 4:30 two days in a row to be there at 5am.  And I am NOT a person who can get up early very well.  I did a super bowl boot camp at the gym today.  I keep being told that I need to take a day off from the gym, I'm afraid to not go to the gym.  I'm trying to mix it up a bit at the gym, I'm now doing intervals on the tread - run, walk, run, walk, etc for 30 min.  That is much harder than it sounds, believe me.....

Today was the super bowl but we stayed home, I didn't want to be tempted and I wanted to control my food.  We had awesome garlic lime shrimp on top of salads for dinner.  Under 300 calories for dinner.  :)

I have one more week before we weigh in again... I got on the scale yesterday and I hadn't lost a pound after being diligent with my nutrition and excercise.. very disappointing.  Which also another reason I'm trying to mix it up at the gym, perhaps my body has gotten used to what I was doing... I will not give up!!!  Just makes me try harder!  My trainer also said that I probably wasn't eating enough calories, who would have thought that????  So now to try to get in more calories..... and they still have to be the right calories.   We'll see what effect these changes make, hoping for big a BIG difference showing on the scale next monday.!!!

Wishing everyone a successful week...

D

  1. Hey! Way to go! Impressive work. You really should consider taking a day off from the gym to give your body time to recover. It needs to rebuild tissues, repair and recover from the week of work outs. If you really hate to stay away research says to keep it light on day seven, stretch routine or gentle walk. Just food for thought.

Was inspired by your sandwich thin recipe and found some mini ones for 50 cal. Each. Made a breakfast sandwich with egg whites, Canadian bacon and laughing cow cheese yum! A mere 100 cal, so I eat two!

Thanks for your blog! And keep inspiring the world!
    Love ya,
    J
